| Abstract: | The evolution of nanomicelles using new “designer surfactants” makes is possible to conduct numerous organic transformations in aqueous medium instead of organic solvents. This leads to a strong decrease of waste production and allows to replace reprotoxic dipolar aprotic solvents. The technology lends itself easily to scale-up in process chemistry. |
