Influence of the Curvature Dependence of Interfacial Energy on Homogeneous Nucleation Kinetics

Influence of the curvature dependence of surface tension on nucleation rate and cluster distribution function is studied. When the curvature dependence of the interfacial energy of a cluster, σ, is taken into account the number of monomers decreases, in contrast to the case when σ = const. Decrease of monomers caused the decrease of nucleation rate.
