Abstract:We extend the superconformal gauge BRST formalism directly to the D = 2 off-shell (1,0) and (1,1) superspaces that are appropriate to the NSR representation of superstrings. The BRST invariances for the spinning and heterotic first quantized string actions are derived for the first time in off-shell superspace.
