A characterization of affine cylinders |

| Abstract: | A class of non-metrizable connections is studied. It contains the only non-flat locally symmetric connections existing on affine hypersurfaces of type number 1.The research was supported by the Alexander von Humboldt Stiftung and by the KBN grant no 2 P301 03004. |
