摘    要:根据Mie散射在前向小角范围内散射光强是颗粒尺寸的单调函数,并且与散射粒子材料、折射率和形状无关的特性,介绍了一种通过测量前向小角散射光强来确定颗粒群平均尺寸的方法.该方法能够将测量范围扩大到40μm,而且操作方便,重复性好,与计算机技术联用后可以发展为一种新型的粒子在线检测技术.

Abstract:An improved technique based on Mie scattering to determine the mean size of particles by scattering light at small angles near forward has been investigated in this paper.A multielement optical fiber device specially designed is applied to measure mean size of particles in real time. Details of the experiment and results of a study of dust particles are presented.
