Abstract: | The propagation of a radially polarized partially coherent beam through an optical system in turbulent atmosphere is investigated. Analytical propagation formulae for the radially polarized partially coherent beam through an optical system in turbulent atmosphere are derived, and some analyses are illustrated by numerical examples related to propagation properties of the radially polarized partially coherent beam through a double-lens system in turbulent atmosphere. It is shown that the optical system, structure constant of turbulent atmosphere and the initial coherent length have significant influence on intensity, degree of polarization and degree of coherence for radially polarized partially coherent beam. |
