Retracts and Semiretracts of Topological Spaces |

| Abstract: | The main purpose of this work is to have a connection between retracts and near continuity. So, we construct a type of retracts based on the concept of semi-continuous fuctions. Many properties and examples for this notion are obtained. The relation bwtween semi-retracts and topological folding is proved, and interpreted. |
