| Abstract: | The basic equations of the statics of the extrusion process have been derived with allowance for viscosity anomaly, heat-transfer effect, and the dependence of the actual length of the metering zone on the regime parameters. The model obtained makes possible the analytic determination of the output and the temperature and pressure of the melt at the screw outlet.
