| Abstract: | Hartree—Fock wavefunctions and good approximations to the exact wavefunctions are used to demonstrate the effect of electron correlation on the radial density D(r1) and the contours of the density distribution ?(r1) in the He isoelectronic sequence. In general, correlation effects diminish as the charge-cloud becomes less diffuse. |
