| Abstract: | The quasi-elastic neutron scattering peaks obtained from polytetrahydrofuran and its perdeutero analogue have been observed in solution in CS2. Thus the incoherent and coherent components can be separated. The results do not support the Rouse model of polymer chain dynamics but the Zimm model, which includes hydrodynamic interactions, may apply. |
