| Abstract: | A method is established for the approximate calculation of the density matrix for a system of interacting anharmonic oscillators. An approximate analytical expression is obtained for the density matrix of a two-dimentional isotropic anharmonic oscillator. As an example the calculations for a two-dimensional quartic oscillator are demonstrated. |
