| Abstract: | By doping a nematic liquid crystal with dissymmetric chiral compounds it has been shown that the twist of the resulting cholesteric structure is proportional to the solute concentration. Using as doping agent a photolabile chiral compound a cholesteric-nematic transition has been obtained under UV irradiation. |
