| Abstract: | The temperature dependence of the infrared continuum due to easily polarizable hydrogen bonds is studied with aqueous HCl solutions. It is shown that this continuum is almost entirely independent of temperature in the range 293–333 K. As discussed, the experimental fact is in good agreement with the theory. |
