On the theory of cyclotron resonance linewidth

Using self-consistent perturbation theory a formula for the a.c. magneto-conductivity is derived. This formula takes account of both self-energy and vertex correction effects and can be used to calculate the cyclotron resonance linewidth. For realistic values of the strength and the range of the impurity potential good agreement with results of experiments on InSb is obtained.
