| Abstract: | We have studied in the molecular-field approximation the statistical mechanical properties of various generalized Blume—Capel Hamiltonians, which describe singlet—doublet and three-singlet magnetic systems. Phase diagrams exhibit tricritical lines and spin reorientations. |
