Abstract:Bloodless surgical knife: Nano-biotechnology has been introduced into imaging-guided high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) cancer surgery by adopting engineered multifunctional manganese-based mesoporous composite nanocapsules as the contrast agents for T(1)-weighted magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and simultaneously as synergistic agents for MRI-guided HIFU cancer surgery.
