Abstract: | Deformation effects on particle emission in a fission process of251Esnucleus as functions of excitation energy, angular momentum, andviscosity coefficient have been investigated in detail within theframework of Smoluchowski equation. Our calculations show thathigh excitation energy, low angular momentum, and largeviscosity will enhance the influence of deformation onmultiplicity of prescission particles, and that the roles of thesethree parameters will become weak with decreasing deformation. |
