Runge‐Kutta Type Methods for Ill‐Posed Problems and the Retrieval of Aerosol Size Distributions

The present paper deals with new explicit and implicit Runge‐Kutta type iteration methods as a regularization tool for ill‐posed problems. These methods are a generalization of the well‐known Landweber method. An application to Atmospheric Physics in determining the aerosol size distribution is given.
