The influence of different constraints on the homogenization and texture simulation of polycrystalline metals

Alternative computational procedures for the treatment of homogenized micro‐structures of single crystal grains at large strains are discussed.We demonstrate the effect of these different approaches on the simulation of texture development in polycrystalline metals and compare the results with experimental data and the classical Taylor model.
