| Abstract: | This paper presents a decision rule based on the so-called interval-valued fuzzy method of approximate inference. Furthermore, a classical decision algorithm (the so-called threshold rule) is considered. On the basis of the results of a numerical experiment a comparison of effectiveness is made between the two decision rules in selected signal transmission problems. |
