| Abstract: | Compact Disks (CD) can be divided into three types according to their functions: Compact Disk-Read Only Memory (CD-ROM), Compact Disk-Recordable (CD-R) and Compact Disk-Rewritable (CD-RW). This paper describes the composition and structure of CD and the mechanism of recording and reading the information in the CD. |
