| Abstract: | Estimation of burnup in the Oklo natural reactor was based on Ru isotopic abundances determined by thermal ionization mass spectrometry. Nearly all Ru in the samples is fissiogenic, and burnup values calculated from101Ru,102Ru and104Ru isotope abundances are in good agreement with each other. The conversion factor of238U to235U was also determined using Ru isotope abundances. |
