Investigation of non-Newtonian liquid jet motion

Abstract:The development of a non-self-similar liquid-liquid jet of a non-Newtonian reactive liquid is considered with in the framework of the boundary layer theory. The analytic expressions are obtained on the basis of the local similarity method for variation of integral parameters of jet flow along its axis, which agree fairly well with the numerical solution of a non-self-similar problem.
