| Abstract: | The inertial deposition of aerosol particles on model filters at low and intermediate Stokes numbers and low Reynolds numbers was studied. It was shown that the efficiency of the inertial deposition of submicron particles is markedly affected by retarded van der Waals forces and the gas slip in the vicinity of thin fibers. |
