Synchronized Nd3+ laser pulses using a regenerative amplifier |

| Abstract: | A single 30 ps pulse from a passively mode-locked Nd:YAG oscillator was synchronized with a longer pulse of 3–5 ns from a Nd:YAG regenerative amplifier. Jitter between the two pulses was found to be negligible over a wide range of energies injected into the regenerative amplifier. |
