Quasistatic magnetic permeability of an amorphous ferromagnet

Dependence of the differential magnetic permeability on the speed of magnetization reversal was found in ribbons of an amorphous ferromagnetic material. When the ribbon thickness is 10^–3 cm and the initial permeability is 10^–5, an increase in the frequency of the harmonic magnetization reversal causes a decrease of by a factor of 2–3; this takes place in the region around 100 Hz.
