Abstract:The Nonlinear grey Bernoulli model,a derivative model of GM(1,1)model,performs quite well in capturing the nonlinear characteristics hidden in the original series.Fractional order accumulation includes the idea of"in between"so that the grey model with fractional order accumulation can improve prediction performance.To build the suitable model for reflecting the principle of new information priority.This study is to present the Nonlinear grey Bernoulli model with fractional-order opposite-direction accumulation,FAONGBM(1,1)for short.Additionally,the particle swarm optimization algorithm(PSO)is employed to search for the optimal values of fractional order and nonlinear parameter.The numerical results reveal that the proposed model outperforms among commonly-used grey models.
