| Abstract: | Abstract This article describes the oxidation of benzylic, allylic alcohols and hydroquinones under solvent-free conditions using o-xylylenebis(triphenylphosphonium peroxymonosulfate), which has been prepared by mixing an aqueous solution of o-xylylenebis(triphenylphosphonium bromide) with oxone at room temperature. |
