| Abstract: | Asymmetric intramolecular selenocyclisation of alkenoic acids, alkenols and alkenyl urethanes using chiral ferrocenylselenenyl cations proceeds smoothly to give the corresponding lactones, cyclic ethers and N-heterocyclic compounds, respectively, in moderate yields with very high diastereoselectivities. |
