东莞理工学院体育专业学生英语水平现状分析及其提高对策

在英语教学研究中,少有人会把体育专业学生的英语教学作为研究对象,改进体育专业学生的教学质量。2008年,我国成功举办了奥运会和残奥会,向世人展示了我国体育人才的各方面才能,其中包括英语交流能力。为了在2010年的亚运会上再创辉煌,广东的体育专业学生非常有必要做好充分的语言准备。因此分析他们的英语学习现状并提出解决的对策是非常必要的。

English Language Proficiency of PE Students of DGUT and Relevant Countermeasures

Among the growing studies of English teaching in recent years, the majority of subjects are English majors or non-English major college students, but very few people are taking physical education students in English language teaching as the object of study, not to mention some good exploration of teaching methods to improve its teaching quality. It＇ s well known, in 2008, China successfully held the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, to show the world our sports talents in all aspects, including the ability to communicate in English. For the Asian Games in 2010, it is very necessary for our physical education students in Guangdong to make adequate language preparation. Therefore it is of necessity to analyze their status quo of English learning and put forward some measures.
