Abstract: | By the application of storage oscillograph or a transient recorder in combination with a common chart recorder, the transient signals obtained with the loop method were time-resolved. This approach permitted a better analysis and interpretation of the phenomena, and allowed the statement of operating conditions that yield improved analytical performance including the power of detection. From the shape of the signal, conclusions could be drawn regarding the uniformity of the sample evaporation and the formation of compounds with differing evaporation behaviour. |
