Abstract:The possibility of magnetic surface levels at a bicrystal boundary in anisotropic metals is pointed out. The existence of the electron orbit marked by geometrical factors is shown to lead to oscillations of static properties as a function of magnetic field and to geometrical resonance in an alternating electromagnetic field.
