Abstract: | An analysis of multiplicity distributions of secondary particles produced in pion-nucleus interactions in the framework of the additive quark model (AQM) is presented. The experimental results on average multiplicities, multiplicity distributions, dispersion and normalized multiplicity etc., at various energies, are satisfactorily reproduced by the predictions of AQM except for the 〈ns〉, ng correlation. |
