Réactivité de macromères du polyoxyéthylène en copolymérisation radicalaire

A family of styrenic macromers of polyoxyethylene has been copolymerized with styrene, butyl acrylate and acrylonitrile. Copolymerization kinetics have been studied through the consumption of the monomers determined by gas or liquid chromatography, or through NMR analysis of the copolymers. The deduced reactivity ratios show that the reactivity of the macromers is rather close to that of styrene; the slight change is probably due more to the benzylic structure of the macromers than to their polymeric character.
