Cyclization of N,N′‐Bis(Salicylidene)Diamines with Carbon Suboxide

Abstract

The reaction between N,N′‐bis(salicylidene)diamines and carbon suboxide afforded dicoumarinoyl diamides in only one step and in yields that strictly depend on the methylene linkers between the salicylic moieties.
