| Abstract: | The reaction of indolylmagnesium bromide with the 2-, 3-, and 4-chloromethyl-pyridines is reported. Methods are described for the preparation of 2-, 3- and 4-skatylpyridine and 2-, 3- and 4-skatylpiperidine. |
