THE SYNTHESIS OF GLYCOSIDES OF 1-ETHOXYMETHYL-5-FLUOROURACIL

ABSTRACT

Three N-glycosides 3(A–C) of 1-ethoxymethyl-5-fluorouracil were synthesized by the reaction of 2 with α-bromoacetylglucose 1(A–C) under phase transfer catalysis. The compounds 3(A–C) were treated by ammonia to obtain three new compounds 4(A′–C′). Their structures were confirmed by elementary analysis, IR, ¹H NMR.
