Abstract:Cu/ZnO,Cu/ZnO-C and Cu/ZnO-Al2O3 catalysts were studied.The as-prepared catalysts were characterized by XRD,TPR,BET and SEM techniques.The catalytic activity and lifetime of maleic anhydride gas-phase hydrogenation to γ-butyrolactone was measured in a continuous flowing fixed bed reactor.The results showed that adding active carbon into Cu/ZnO catalysts could make the catalytic reaction temperature lower.Under 250 ℃,atmospheric pressure,with LHSV of MA of 0.1 h-1 and H2/ MA atomic ratio of 50,the conversion of maleic anhydride is 100%,selectivity of γ-Butyrolactone is up to 90%.On Cu/ZnO-C catalyst deactivation factors are analyzed,the results show that the catalyst sintering and carbon deposition are the main reasons for catalyst deactivation.
