Some possibilities for the plutonium content determination in an irradiated nuclear fuel

This paper describes the results of the methods used for the plutonium content determination in an irradiated nuclear fuel from the first Czechoslovak atomic power station A1. The main attention was paid to the following methods: mass-spectrometric isotope dilution method, radiometric method and correlation dependence method based on the analysis of the burnt fuel. The principle and the accuracy of the individual methods are discussed.
