Abstract: | A boundary-value problem for the wave equation in a stratified medium with mixed boundary conditions on the boundary in the case of high oscillation frequencies is considered. The Helmholtz equation for a velocity function increasing monotonically with depth is investigated. The problem is reduced to an integral equation in the high-frequency approximation, and an explicitly smooth term of its asymptotic solution is constructed. |
