The synthesis of 1-cyclohexyl-2-phenyl-3-nitroaziridine and the stereochemistry of cyclization

The title compound was synthesized by the cyclization of α,β-dibromonitrostyrene with three moles of cyclohexylamine. Evidence for the steric course of the cyclization reaction is also reported.
