| Abstract: | A new technique is presented for measuring fluorescence quantum yields without recourse to comparison with “standards”. The first experiments involved a study of benzene in the vapor phase. The measured fluorescence quantum yield at 2537 Å, ΦF = 0.19 ± 0.02. |
