THz波段金属光子晶体的带隙及缺陷特性分析

摘    要:研究了一种适用于太赫兹器件的二维金属光子晶体结构,该结构为正方晶格的二维铜柱光子晶体。首先用时域有限差分法计算分析了它的带隙结构,讨论了带隙随着填充比的变化规律,接着讨论了引入点缺陷时所产生的缺陷模特性,得到了点缺陷所对应的缺陷模场分布图。研究结果为THz波段光子晶体器件的开发及制作提供了理论依据。

Abstract:In this paper, a sort of two-dimensional square metallic photonic crystal structure which is applicable to THz devices is discussed. First, the primary properties of the band gap are analyzed. Then the main defect mode features are discussed when the point defect is introduced in the metallic photonic crystal. The mode distribution of defect mode is obtained as well. The research results will provide theoretical basis for the development and manufacture of THz photonie crystal devices.
