| Abstract: | The reflection of a shock wave from the inlet of a nozzle of very simple geometry is analyzed on the basis of calculations carried out in the two-dimensional formulation. The nozzle throat is a sharp-edged slit in the end face of the tube leading to an expanding duct with straight generators.
