Stress solutions to the three-dimensional problem of elasticity

Abstract:New representations of the stress tensor in the linear theory of elasticity and thermoelasticity are proposed. These representations satisfy the equilibrium equations and the strain compatibility equation. The stress tensor is expressed in terms of a harmonic tensor or a harmonic vector.
