Glycosylation of cardenolides III. Partial syntheses of convallatoxin, evomonoside, and periplorhamnoside

Summary Partial syntheses of convallatoxin, evomonoside, and periplorhamnoside have been performed by the condensation of an acetlyated L-rhamnopyranose orthoacetate with the appropriate aglycones.
