| Abstract: | A total synthesis of (+)-lentiginosine, a potent and selective amyloglucosidase inhibitor, is reported from a d-glucose-derived epoxide in 38% overall yield. In this synthesis, ambient conditions and readily available starting materials and reagents are used. |
