This paper reviews the situation of the field indoor-meter and the line lose before the transformation of Hengshan Line,makes the graphic illustration of the technical methods and equipment adopted on the field of the line,discusses some problems exisiting in the transformation and some corresponding countermeasures,analyzes the significance of the transformation on the reduction of line loss,puts forward the working flow of the transformation of indoor meter,and expounds the economic benefit after the complete realization of full-automatic meter reading and checking functions through the transformation of the line.
