| Abstract: | In the dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO)-metal oxide oxidation of alcohol to carbonyl compound, molybdenum oxides were the only useful catalytic reagents, and various alcohols were oxidized to the corresponding carbonyl compounds in high yields. |
