Abstract:	8-Aza-12-oxasteroids have been synthesized in a simple three-step process. As a consequence of two stareocontrolled reactions, the product is a stereospecifically homogeneous isomer with all- $trans$ ring junctions; its structure has been determined by ¹H and ¹³C NMR spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction.
